Paisley Pan

This was my first time making a maple cake with maple cream icing! They said it was delicious - I have to confess I did try a little too and it wasn't bad! I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Covered Wagon

This cake was harder then it looks! I was asked to make a gluten free cake - which was a first, but interesting! To suspend the cake above the board was quite the challenge! Because of the consistency of the cake it was terribly hard to keep it all together. I had to be careful not to bump it the wrong way or it would all crumble!

I was not going to post this cake, but due to high demand - here it is. It isn't my most favorite cake and I want to try it again, just to improve it!

The reason the "Love Comes Softly" cover is on the bottom - the lady I made it for loves this series - hence the reason for the covered wagon!
Still have SO much to learn

Fresh Fruit Cake

I was asked to make a fresh fruit cake with whipped cream for the icing! It was my first time using fresh fruit, but it most definitely won't be the last! Happy 30th Birthday Ps. Stephen and Sarah Brogan! God's richest blessings be poured out on your family as you seek Him with your whole heart!

Barry Kropf (Owner of Kropfs Custom) has been placing a little bug in Daniels ear for some time that I should do some baking for them - so when I made the top cake I just made a little extra batter and threw this cake together! It's Valentine's Season!

Banana Cream Cake

The "Hearty-fill pan" (Wilton) was one that I wanted to get to make a white chocolate raspberry cake for Valentines Day (for my family).Well the pan came early and of course I HAD TO try it! So I made a banana cream cake! It was really yummy, but I didn't let the mousse chill long enough, thus it was still runny and didn't show a clean cut. Looking forward to trying it again Monday (Lord willing).

Dear all followers,

This month will take me on a journey (Lord willing) to Darien, Illinois where I will be attending the Wilton Master's Course. I am looking forward to it and hope that it provides me with helpful tips and experience!

~Happy 84th Birthday Grandma Toman~

Here are the little individual quickie last minute cakes that I made for my Grandma Toman. I felt bad that I didn't have more time to do a more elaborate cake - also I was told to do something simple. I don't like the way the fondant turned out. I didn't put enough icing below the fondant to get that "smooth" look! Live & Learn, right?

Lord bless Grandma Toman with another year of drawing ever closer to you - Her Heavenly Father, her everything!
