The Three Tiered Wedding Cake

Here it is! It was SO simple to make - but so fun piping all those flowers!

Sampler Birthday Cake

We were all to make a cake with all the different flowers, borders, and icing techniques that Wilton taught us in the two weeks in the Masters Course! So voila - here it is! I was so thankful for the opportunity to go!

My Hero's

My sweet brother and sister put so much time and energy into making me special birthday cakes! The cake on the right is from the Wilton Pillow Pan set (one that I've been thinking about getting for some time) and the cake on the left is a picture I saw the other day and mentioned something to Daniel about trying eventually! They both were so thoughtful and invested a lot of their love, patience, and time into these cakes! I love my siblings SO much - so thankful for them!

Baby Blocks

These blocks were such fun to make - however if you look closely after I had made the blocks and put on the fondant, they settled. So they are not perfect blocks. Not quite sure what happened there other then maybe there was too much weight for the thin layers! I made 2 of the blocks white cake with raspberry filling and one chocolate - interestingly enough the white cake went first!
This is the third cake I've made the Titus Isaiah!

Paisley Pan

This was my first time making a maple cake with maple cream icing! They said it was delicious - I have to confess I did try a little too and it wasn't bad! I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Covered Wagon

This cake was harder then it looks! I was asked to make a gluten free cake - which was a first, but interesting! To suspend the cake above the board was quite the challenge! Because of the consistency of the cake it was terribly hard to keep it all together. I had to be careful not to bump it the wrong way or it would all crumble!

I was not going to post this cake, but due to high demand - here it is. It isn't my most favorite cake and I want to try it again, just to improve it!

The reason the "Love Comes Softly" cover is on the bottom - the lady I made it for loves this series - hence the reason for the covered wagon!
Still have SO much to learn
