Draped Fondant, Quilted pattern, and a Designed Cross

Behold Children are a heritage from the Lord
....and the fruit of the womb is His reward

Had a lot of fun with this cake
with the quilted look, the draped fondant, and the pressed cross...
I've been struggling to blog about the different cakes right away,
so when I finally find time to do it I almost forget
what I was going to write!

This cake was totally worth every second spent on it - to see the look on the little girls face when she came to pick it up! This is what I'm reminded of as I work on the cakes, that no matter how late it gets, how long I've been working on it already, just one more detail will totally make the cake!

Curious George... and friends

Even the monkeys get royal treatment!
An elegant giant cupcake gets graced with monkeys, elephants, and lion... hmmm!
Super fun to model these cute creatures! To be honest, first time doing this for a cake...
I guess before it was all imagination with play-dough when I was a kid!
It's amazing how much we do as a kid carries over into our later years!

Congratulations Will & Lisa S. on your beautiful baby girl!!
Blessings to you as you bring her up in His ways
May she grow up to be a woman after God's own heart!
